The Rescue Chicken

Meet Meat-a-licious… the rescue chicken.

My 3 year old daughter named her after her favorite character, pink-a-licious. So we’re just going with it.

A few weeks ago, we accidentally acquired a solitary meat chicken (cornish cross). Our family does not keep cornish cross chickens for a lot of reasons that I will not get into here.

BUT… we have all fallen in love with this sweet chicken and she has become our rescue/pet for as long as her little body will keep chugging.

She sleeps on top of the dog, runs between our legs when she’s scared, and is perfectly happy cuddling up with us as we work in the barn.
