We Lost an Icon

We lost an icon this week.

The holistic orcharding community is teeny tiny, and Michael Phillips led the way.

He was a mentor to all of us. We read all of his books, committed them to memory, emailed him weekly, and flew to his home in New Hampshire to soak in his knowledge.

I feel fortunate that we had this class together. It was his last. And now it’s time for us to make our own way.
