Something I never dare say in Kansas

We planted 100 fruit trees on Saturday, and it hasn’t stopped raining since. All of the trees are sitting in deep water, sunken into the ground, and tipped over. The ends of the peach trees are dying and I fear we will lose them all.

This is nature, like it or not. But I believe everything happens for a reason, and it’s all part of God’s plan.

Perhaps the trees that survive are the ones we were meant to keep in the first place.
