What Means Most

My husband says I’m a terrible business person. And he is usually right about these sort of things. I care very little about money and even less about publicity.

What I really care about is the look on Bonny’s face when we hand her the first red tomato out of the greenhouse. And watching our niece Maci dig radishes out of the ground with overwhelming pride. And the sense of accomplishment when we spend all night making perfectly imperfect hand-dipped raw beeswax candles.

Before we are an orchard, or a garden, or a farm… we are a homestead. A family trying to do right by nature. Trying to teach our kids how to live sustainably. Trying to close the gap between where our food comes from and what hits our table.

Thanks for following our little journey!

We LOVE you!
