Our newest additions… two baby Dorper ram bottle lambs whose mamas couldn’t care for them.

Every single animal on our farm has a purpose. They help build our ecosystem in a unique but intentional way.

The sheep are part of the holistic planned grazing in the orchard. At planned times throughout the season, the sheep will rotate through the orchard in small sections, chomping grass & urinating & poo-ing & fertilizing everything in their path.

Sheep are ideal for orchard grazing because the damage they do to the trees is minimal (as opposed to goats that destroy everything).

The kids are still deciding on names but so far Hazel (age 3) has come up with... Lady Glitter Sparkles, Starfish, Rockstar, and Daisy Doodle
