Apple Blossoms
God’s Backup Plan
When apple trees begin to produce flower buds, there are usually 5 in a cluster. The biggest bud in the middle is called the “king bud” and it will pollinate first.
If the king bud fails to pollinate (late freeze or disease), the other buds wait patiently for their time to bloom & pollinate and thus save the tree from a season without production.
There is the plan we humans always think is first and best... but God also created backup plans that we don’t even see yet.
